ŠKODA AUTO > INFOTAINMENT FOR ŠKODA ENYAQ IV > 2020
For the latest fully electric Škoda Enyaq model, we have reworked the design used in the 10" Škoda Octavia IV unit, into an even larger 13" screen. We have recently been working on the new electric range from the Škoda brand, incorporating the new electric systems: charging, its timing and connection to electricity tariffs, driving statistics, etc. The main controls have been regrouped and user options have been increased. Additional driver assistants were added and, conversely, the standard functions associated with a conventional combustion engine were removed.
The development of the user interface and its preparation for the unit took place in 2019 and 2020.
ŠKODA AUTO > INFOTAINMENT “COLUMBUS” > 2016 – 2017
The design concept, used in the smaller 6.5” and 8” infotainment systems, was also adapted into the biggest HMI device that Škoda has ever used in their cars. Thanks to the wider display with higher resolution and overall more powerful hardware, many features were added. We were responsible for the design adaptation as well as the complete production, including graphic specification and resources.
ŠKODA AUTO > INFOTAINMENT “AMUNDSEN” > 2015 – 2016
We have developed this brand new HMI according to the Škoda Design department concept and turned it into hundreds of screens and thousands of resources for production. The device can be seen in a wide range of Škoda models from Fabia to Superb, including the still new Kodiaq.
And we are already working on a face-lifted version.
ŠKODA AUTO > INFOTAINMENT “SWING” GEN3 > 2014 – 2015
This job was supposed to be quick and easy – just a facelift of it’s predecessor (on which we also worked). We were only commissioned to change a few resources, such as buttons and other graphics to tune up the design a bit. But after some new features and screen redesigns, it soon turned into a serious job. Even though it is for the entry level model, the device is quite capable and offers lots of functionality. It was well worth all the effort.
ŠKODA AUTO > INFOTAINMENT “SWING” GEN1 > 2006 – 2008
While digging deeper into our working history and cooperation with Škoda Auto, this little gem popped-up. A quite old but popular device with a Dot-matrix display, that was already able to communicate with the car and show information such as A/C settings, Parking system and car setup. It was a work intensive project, from the display design, to nearly 500 pages of graphic specification, about 450 pixel-based font characters in 3 different sizes and many various icons.
KONSIT > CORPORATE IDENTITY > 2021
The rebranding of the construction company Konsit was one of the key projects of the difficult and complex Covid year of 2021. Together with the client, we defined the assignment for the visual change and worked out a precise technocratic solution from the four considered directions.
After the development of the graphic manual and implementation of the stationery, we progressed to the design of the website, the redesign of the company's interior and took care of Konsit's visibility during the actual construction work — from the site signage, fleet of vehicles, up to the workwear.
NATIONAL TECHNICAL MUSEUM > GRAPHIC DESIGN OF EXHIBITION & CATALOGUE > 2019
The glory of amateur photography exhibition pays tribute to photographers organized in czech photo-amateur clubs. Since its birth, amateur photography has significantly influenced the development of czech photography, its application, meaning, and form. Amateur photographers practiced photography as a hobby, but devoted a lot of time and energy to this noble pastime. Their work was often excellent for its time. Yet the vast majority of authors have been forgotten and their photographs have largely been lost.
ART DIRECTORS CLUB CZECH REPUBLIC > 2015
A great honour! We were asked by the Czech Art Directors Club to develop a key visual for the competition of creativity – Creative Awards 2015. Supported by photographer Pavel Aschermann we developed strong image, which appeared in advertising, on posters, tickets and online.
CGS HOLDING > MITAS > 2010 — 2012
We have been fulfilling the strategy of this big blue brand since 2010. We finessed the design during pilot projects, after evaluating whether the strategy was right we elaborated the first catalogues, adapted the design for the motorcycle division, and prepared the tyre service project, Mitas Premium Partner.
In two years we produced 5 major catalogues for EU and US markets, new products specification sheets, more than 10 type of adverts in 8 languages, several B2B projects, as well as exhibition stands and much more for the CGS Holding sub-brands.
We systematised everything in 200 pages brand manual.
ADAMEC CRANE SYSTEMS > CORPORATE IDENTITY & WEBSITE > 2013 – 2017
For this developing producer of industrial cranes, we defined the principal elements of the visual communication: company logo, colour code, product branding. Our work continues on the company's print communication and website.
ŠKODA AUTO > MODEL RANGE TYPOGRAPHY > 2005
We developed new lettering for the design department of the automobile manufacturer from Mladá Boleslav, suitable for pressing from chrome-coated plastic. The final version was preceded by a five-phase development, 3D modelling, visualisation and finally test pressing.
